The first and unique gold coin as Proof from the new Tudor Beasts series, issued by the Royal Mint in a limited edition of 550pcs. A series of coins is dedicated to the Tudor dynasty. This gold coin shows a panther donated by Henry VIII, his wife Jane Seymour, as a sign of love and devotion on the day of their wedding in Whitehall Chapel. The reverse of the gold coin depicts Panther Seymour, created by David Lawrence, the designer of the mint, he depicted a fire-breathing panther holding a paw shield with a family coat of arms and a royal crown around his neck.
